april 1st

What I want to know is when did it become April, and how does it seem like just a few days ago I was looking into my planner wondering how I would ever make it to this day.   I am so blessed for all of the wonderful opportunities I have been given in the past three months through camp, student teaching, and Purdue.  It is amazing to me all the people I have been blessed with in my life so far.  I can't wait to see who else will pop in and out of my life in the next few days, months, and years.

1. Easter on both sides of the family, without my family. I missed having Mom, Dad, and Joules there, but it was fun to be with Will and Jarv for the weekend and be our own "orphan" family.
2. Getting a day extension on turning in my assignments for my supervisor.  These assignments are strenuous and time consuming, so having one extra day is so so helpful.
3. Tearing off each day towards staff training.  I am obviously thinking more and more about what is in my future lately, and this is something I am so sure God placed into my life for a reason.  I can't wait to see what learning lies ahead of me.  I can't wait for the relationships with the campers and counselors. I can't wait for closing campfires.  I can't wait to sing and dress up and as I told my 4th graders, "Be Camp Counselor Kellie"!
4. Hanging out with Amanda, Hillary, and everyone at school.  It is fun to be a college student again!
5. Receiving the writing of one of my students.  She has entered a contest with her short story, and it is amazing!  I can't wait to see how she develops throughout her time as a student.  She is going to make an outstanding adult!
6. Sleeping in past 6:30am. Straight up happiness.
