january 8th, 2014!

You know those times where no matter what is going on, you just feel like you're struggling?  That is how I have been feeling lately, and I haven't been sure how to snap out of it.

I had a friend who posted a picture that said, "Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction. Break the Habit. Talk about your JOYS."  This of course brought me back here.  Focusing on the JOYs in life makes you look for those things.  Focusing on the positive makes life more positive.  That's what I need.  To focus back on the little things.

- For my family being fun and not getting sick of each other after being stuck in our house for the past three days.

- Playing Monopoly with Will and Julie

- Making cookie dough and eating it

- Having the four best friends that anyone could ever have.  For picking each other up, getting dropped off at the end of Sarah's forever long driveway, and having a sleepover at her house.

- For Breanne and her friendship.

- For Megan M. always being able to calm me with her words.

- For Josh not thinking I'm completely insane every single day.

- For a computer to entertain.

- For fun pens, notes, and friends worth writing to.

- For fun kids in my class, for their creativity with snow, and for fun parents who encourage this fun!
