- getting to see Katie and give her a big hug. I miss her so much.
- eating Brunos and being reallife friends again. Literally the best pizza ever, one thing I really miss about Purdue!
- getting tackled by David. I really missed that!
- Meg's energy and happiness... she can always put a smile on my face!
- seeing my daughter!! Even if it was only for a few minutes, it was great to catch up on her life and see her face!
- talking with Hillary and just realizing how great of a friend she is. I feel blessed to have her in my life and the inspiration that she brings to me. Can't wait to hang out with her again soon.
- MANNNNNN I GOT TO SEE KEVYN CUTLERR MANNNNNNNN
- Surprise hug from Karissa. Miss that girl!
- Hugging Biz, so proud of her getting an interview to MED SCHOOL!
- talking with Brad on the way home. He always has a way of comforting me when I get overwhelmed or stressed. So thankful for his friendship and his positivity. God blessed me with one amazing friend in him!
- Sleeping in this weekend! I really needed the extra rest, so this has been great to get it.
- Conversation with Joules on the phone. It is so good to see her doing well at IU and moving on to this part in her life. I know she is going to be a great college student. Can't wait to see what she does!
- GOING TO DEPAUW TO VISIT CHRISSY CROWE!!!! I miss that girl so much, and it was great to have the opportunity to see where she lives. I love having the opportunity to bring a little bit of camp back into my life when I visit friends.
- Hugs from Moll Henry and just hearing her stories. She is so precious and so, so fun. I love how confident she is and supportive of her friends.
- Deciding to randomly visit and surprise Adam at camp. Best thing ever.
- Seeing Adam's excitement for his life. He sees what he wants and is going after it. I'm inspired how he is stepping way outside his box to make himself happy. He is going to do great things. Chriss and I can't wait to be the best women in his wedding. :)
- BFFs, that's all.
- Getting lost and stressed on the way back to DePauw. Road closed, creepy small roads, running out of gas, getting pulled over, rain, lightning, and lots of laughs and memories. Wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else!
- I'm thankful for Chrissy's hugs and her constant support these past two weeks. Even though we haven't known each other very long, she has been the friend that I have really needed. God has really blessed me with her.
- Olivia Odle's snapchats.... never get old.
- Walking under the Bell Tower for the first time ever. It was really life changing. Ha-ha!
- Being back with Katie, Amanda, Megan, and Faggetti. It was fun to hear about their lives and trade classroom stories.
- Finally creating and finishing my name tags I promised my kids. Excited to finish these and give them to my students.
- Lunch with Emily and Cara. I love that we have continued our friendship throughout our college career. It is fun to hear about their life after college and realize that we are all feeling the same way. Makes living life a little bit easier to know that we aren't alone!
- Just thankful for an extra day of weekend. Always a great thing.
- Just having a relaxing weekend and getting out many emotions and conversations that were needed. Even though I am all over the place, I am thankful for the people that God has placed in my life to get me through this transition.
“don’t forget to notice the colors of the leaves changing” [dove chocolate], each day I realize it’s not the big events in your life that make it worth living. it’s the little things that warm your heart and put a smile on your face
